How big is the HF10?

Answer: it'll easily fit in a pocket (without the mic)
In fact, this picture makes it look bigger than it is.

Hi again. Sorry, I posted the previous comments on the HF10. If the wind filter is a problem with the HF10's built-in mic (which it might not be, but for argument's sake...), are there any sort of filters or overlays you can apply over the mic ports on camcorders? I want to get the HF10 and was thinking of bringing it on a 3-day festival but space will be an issue so I don't want to bring an external mic as well.

I s'pose you could fit some foam over the front where the mics are.

I reckon you'll be OK with the combination of attenuation and adjustable mic level. You can always just turn it down :-)
(You might have to do that if the music is loud anyhow!)
Don't forget to use some headphones so you can monitor the sound as you go.
